What do you do with those extra packets of taco sauce from your favorite Mexican restaurant? Why, you make a Mexican Layered Dip, of course. ::)
Should feed about 4-6 people. Here we go…..
Spread and layer:
1 can refried beans (I used the fat free)
1 small can nacho cheese (not the wholesale warehouse size, but the soup can size)
1/2 of an iceberg lettuce, chopped
1 large tomato cut into small pieces
1/2 cup your favorite shredded cheese
1/2 small red onion, chopped
1 handful parsley or cilantro, chopped
packets of your favorite taco sauce (we used 10 mild packets)
Enjoy as is, or with tortilla chips, or wrap some in a soft tortilla for a soft taco, or make a burrito. 🙂
