The Roasted Cauliflower

Delicious, low-carbohydrate, gluten-free, and yummy addition to your daily cooking, that is so versatile. Depending on how big your cauliflower is will determine your servings. I usually do 1 cup servings. I would love to see your pictures of how you enjoy this recipe. ๐Ÿ™‚ Here we go….

1 cauliflower, cut into 3 inch pieces

extra virgin olive oil (or vegetable oil)

salt (use sparingly), pepper, paprika, and garlic powder

cutting board

spatula

non-stick cooking spray

baking sheet/baking pan/cookie sheet with sides

Heat oven to 450 degrees. Spray your sheet/pan with non-stick cooking spray. Carefully cut florrettes off of cauliflower, and then cut them in half, or thirds, to make them flat (so they will roast better). Lay them all flat, from left to right, in your pan. Drizzle a little oil, from left to right. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder, from left to right. Using spatula, toss well to coat all pieces. Roast for 15 minutes. Remove from oven. Let cool for a few minutes. That’s it! Enjoy as a snack, with your favorite dip, topped with your favorite pasta sauce, mashed, pureed, add to your favorite soup or salad…..the possibilities are endless. Please like and share.
