We all want to eat desert that does not have any calories….well, that obviously can not happen, however, we can alter a few things to make what we want tasty, yet lower in sugar, and make it less carbohydrates, and so, The Low-Sugar Apple Turnover was created in my kitchen, and we love it, and so here I am sharing it with you, and I hope you enjoy it as a treat. This recipe will make about 1 dozen turnovers. Now, as I stated, it is less carbohydrates because I only used ONE phyllo dough per turnover, and the apples, which are heavy, and if you have ever worked with phyllo dough, it is very delicate, and flimsy if you have a heavy filling.
