The Whole Wheat Garlic Toast

We love garlic bread, and here is a recipe baking home made garlic toasts, using whole wheat bread, in 15 minutes. Each person can get anywhere from 2 to 4 pieces (2 triangle pieces equals 1 slice of bread, and 4 triangle pieces equals 2 slices of bread). This is also a great fasting / vegetarian recipe. Here we go…..

1- 2 pieces of whole wheat bread per person, cut into 2 triangles

vegetable oil or olive oil, poured into a cup (for 8 pieces of bread I used about 2 tablespoons of oil)

salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and dry parsley

cookie sheet

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Arrange all of your bread in a single layer. Using the pastry brush, gently brush the top of each bread with some oil. Next, VERY LIGHTLY sprinkle some salt and pepper on each piece. Finally, sprinkle your garlic powder, paprika, and parsley. Bake for 15 minutes on middle rack. Remove from oven, transfer to a plate or platter, let cool, and serve. Enjoy !!!  🙂
