Step 1- Make Salmon Burgers.
(1) 7 ounce canned Boneless Skinless Atlantic Salmon in Water
2 eggs, beaten
2 pieces whole wheat bread, cut into tiny pieces
2 green onions stalks, sliced thin
1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
Pinch black pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
Non-stick cooking spray
Mix all ingredients well. Shape into 2 patties. Spray your pan with non-stick cooking spray, and warm on medium heat. Carefully place patties in your pan and cook for 4 minutes on each side, or until browned on both sides. Remove from heat and let cool.
Step 2- Make Chili Mayonnaise.
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
A couple of squirts of hot chili sauce (can sometimes be found near Asian food in grocery stores)
Pinch of salt, pepper, garlic powder, and dill weed
Mix all ingredients together and top each burger with 1 tablespoon of spread, or spread on your favorite sandwich bread. That’s it. Enjoy!
