The Pan Seared Apples and Granola

For a quick, delicious dessert, or breakfast idea, try this recipe of crisp sweet apples, topped with crunchy granola, using instant oatmeal. This recipe is for 6 servings.

Step 1- Make granola. Combine all ingredients in a non stick pan or skillet, and toast on medium high heat for 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Let cool.

4 maple and brown sugar instant oatmeal packets

2 cinnamon spice instant oatmeal packets

1 cup sliced almonds

2 tablespoons sesame seeds

12 teaspoons peanut oil

6 teaspoons light brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Step 2- Peel, core, and chop apples into tiny pieces. Using a non stick pan or skillet, cook ingredients below on medium-
high heat for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.

3 teaspoons unsalted butter

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

6 teaspoons light brown sugar

Step 3- Spoon apples into bowls. Top with granola, and garnish with whipped cream, if desired. That’s it! Enjoy!
