The Lemon, Butter, Garlic Pasta

The Lemon, Butter, Garlic, Pasta is a favorite in many restaurants. This dish is perfect as a side dish for anything from chicken, beef, pork, seafood, etc., or even on its own. The ingredients put together compliment each other very well. This recipe is for a one-pound box of whole wheat spaghetti, which usually serves up to 8 people. Here we go……

1 pound box of whole wheat spaghetti (prepared according to directions)

8 teaspoons of unsalted, sweet cream butter

8 teaspoons of extra virgin olive oil

4 tablespoons lemon juice

6 cloves of garlic, minced

1 handful of fresh parsley, snipped

sea salt and cracked pepper to taste

parmesan cheese

non stick pan


On medium heat, warm butter, oil, lemon juice, and garlic until butter is melted, and garlic seems to be getting softer, about 3-5 minutes (but do not let it get brown, because then it will become bitter. If the garlic DOES become brown, do not worry. just discard the garlic and still use the oil, because it will now be infused with garlic). Add the pasta, and toss well with tongs. Next, add parsley, salt and pepper, and parmesan cheese. Toss again. That’s it !!!! Enjoy !!!
