The Supreme Pizza Salad

This is for all you pizza lovers out there who LOVE your pizza, but don’t want to eat the bread. In this recipe, I combine everything that I personally consider “supreme” on a “pizza with everything on it”. This can be eaten as a large salad meal in itself, or split up into 2 or 4 appetizer size plates, and even as an antipasto salad. I just LOVE salad. Here we go……

3 cups mixed greens 

1 cup romaine lettuce

2/3 ounce shredded Italian blend cheeses

1/3 ounce shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 tomato

1/2 cucumber, cut in half long ways, seeded, and sliced thin

1/4 white onion, chopped

1/4 green bell pepper, chopped

2 tablespoons sliced banana peppers

1/2 serving pepperoni slices (whatever your package says)

2 ounces browned ground beef (I used half of a leftover hamburger patty and crumbled it)

lightly sprinkle sea salt, ground black pepper, garlic powder, and Italian Seasoning all over top

2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil, evenly sprinkled all over salad

3 teaspoons red wine vinegar, evenly sprinkled all over salad
