The 15 Minute Broiled Salmon

My family and I love salmon, and this is a special treat that we enjoy every so often. Depending on your fish size, this recipe may feed 4-6 people. As a delicious accompaniment, try my recipe for The Roasted Garlic and Basil Aioli Sauce, steaming some vegetables, and making some delicious rice pilaf (posting recipe later). Here we go…..

1 salmon filet

extra virgin olive oil

fresh cracked sea salt

fresh cracked pepper

large roasting pan

Place your oven rack in middle of oven. Turn your temperature in oven to BROIL and HI. Prepare your pan by greasing your pan with a little olive oil. Place fish into pan, and spread a little olive oil on top of the fish, with either a pastry brush, the back of a spoon, or your hands, and make sure to coat the whole fish. Next, sparingly salt and pepper your fish, and place in middle of oven, on middle oven rack, and broil for 15 minutes, carefully watching it every 5 minutes making sure it is okay. Remove from oven, and let cool for a few minutes before eating. That’s it !!! Enjoy !!!!
