Here is a cute idea for a dozen mini burgers, that can be ready in no time, for your teenage crowd, or for a fun family dinner treat, or gathering. I used mini dinner rolls from the bakery department, which were the perfect size for these mini sliders. This is easy, and fun, so hope you make thees and enjoy them as much as we do. Here we go……
2 lb lean ground meat
salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder
3 slices of cheese, cut into 4, giving you 12 slices (Amercian, Swiss, Cheddar, Monterrey Jack, etc.)
12 dinner rolls, sliced in half to make a sandwich
baking pan with sides
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Make 12 little even burgers. Lightly sprinkle each burger with above seasonings. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until desired doneness. Remove from oven and place on plate lined with paper. Top each burger with cheese. Turn oven off. Carefully place rolls directly on rack and warm for about 3 minutes to 4 minutes. Spread one side of your bread with mayonnaise, and other side or bread is for your vinegar stuff, like ketchup, pickles, and mustard. Place burger on your bread, and now you have yourself a mini, delicious, burger !!! Enjoy !!!
