Who doesn’t love French Fries? Who has ever had Baked “Fried” French Fries in the oven? Your children will love them !!!! These are simple to make, and will supply your carbohydrate, fat, and veggie. Here we go:
One medium potato per person, sliced in rounds, or sticks, or even cubes ( I leave the skin on, but you can peel if you desire)
Vegetable oil (2 teaspoons per person)
(Season with Salt and Pepper, OR Season Salt, OR Cajun Seasoning AFTER they have cooked)
Non-Stick baking pan (with sides, just in case oil drips off)
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Toss cut potatoes with vegetable oil and arrange in single layer in pan. Since ovens vary in baking times, bake for about 20-30 minutes, or until nice and light brown and crispy on outside. (Remember to use your timer to start checking on them around 20 minutes). Once done, sprinkle lightly with seasoning of your choice, or for those watching their sodium, none at all. Enjoy !!!
